COUNCIL OPPORTUNITIES

Optional memberships in any or all of the following councils are available to ITEA individual members (You must be an ITEA member to join councils). A council membership runs concurrently with an ITEA membership.

	Council on Technology Teacher Education (CTTE) provides leadership to colleges/universities in the areas of standards, research, and professional interests related to higher education. Technology Education as a Career is now available on the CTTE Web site. Dues include a yearbook and monographs produced during the membership year. $40
	Council for Supervisors (CS) provides leadership to technology education coordinators, assists in curriculum development, promotes model programs, and provides teacher inservice. Dues include forum discussions, a newsletter, and other publications on supervision and administration. $20
	Technology Education for Children Council (TECC) promotes technology education in the elementary school by supporting teachers with instructional materials and inservice monographs, workshops and technology activity curriculum packages. Dues include a subscription to Technology and Children. $25. See a list of the TECC Council Officers.
	Technology Education Collegiate Association (TECA) consists of undergraduate student organization chapters and individual memberships. By joining ITEA, student members are automatically members of TECA at no additional charge.
