The Center offers quality, standards-based teacher workshops run by national presenters. Workshops provide training for up to 50 teachers at requested sites. Workshop fee covers presenter, hands-on training materials, and publications.

Children's Engineering is a new CATTS workshop for elementary teachers and principals, jointly sponsored by ITEEA and the National Association for Elementary School Principals (NAESP). This one-day workshop features project-based learning approaches using technology as the context. The first workshop was held at the NAESP Principal Academy in the Washington DC area in July 2000. Other workshops will be offered by request.

World Class Presenters: James Kirkwood, Ph.D., DTE; Vincent Walencik, Ed.D.

Creating a Dynamic Technology Education Program workshop helps secondary technology teachers prepare to implement standards and develop long range plans for enhancing their technology programs. This one-day workshop is designed to actively engage teachers in program improvement. Workshop is available as a Post-Conference workshop at the ITEEA Conference 2001 and at local sites upon request.
