Bill Bertrand has dedicated his career to ensuring that the students in Pennsylvania are well educated in the area of technological literacy with real world connections.  He has taught at the middle school and high school levels for 25 years in the areas of Industrial Arts and Technology and Engineering Education.  He has taught adults in the area of Public Safety in Fire & Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services for 15 years. He has been the content advisor for Pennsylvania in the areas of Technology and Engineering education and STEM education for the past 7 years.

Bill believes in lifelong learning and tries to instill that trait to all who he encounters. He also tries to lead by exampleand not word alone. He is a risk taker and problem solver who believes it is better to be proactive than reactive. He has worked with numerous associations where he has always focused on what is best for the common good of the whole association.
